Turmeric, also called turmeric, Indian saffron or "spice of life", is the miracle spice of Ayurveda. It is also known as turmeric or goldenseal. With its intense yellow color, fits Turmeric goes with almost every dish and seasons vegetables as well as meat, fish or poultry. Typically, turmeric is known from curry, which gives it its yellow color. 

Turmeric belongs to the ginger family, is a herbaceous plant and the rootstock is used as a spice.

Stirred in water and drunk on an empty stomach, turmeric is also a good year-round companion for anyone who wants to do something for their well-being. You are welcome to add a few drops of good cooking oil or coconut fat to "turmeric tea", since turmeric is fat-soluble and can be metabolized better.
